I know it’s 4th of July weekend and all, but I really, really wanted to test out painting a pineapple pink. I had some kids Crayola paint around the house so I figured to give it a go. In retrospect, an acrylic craft paint would have had much better coverage, but like I said, I really wanted a pink pineapple.
If you wanted to make these en masse for a large party, I suggest taping and spray painting the top for a faster process. If you were making just a few, this acrylic craft paint and foam brushes would work nicely.
Every time I’m at Costco I pick up 2 dozen hot pink roses. They pop against all the neutrals in my home and worked great with this summer tablescape.
Likewise, every time I’m in Antropologie, I want to buy more plates. Have you ever seen all of their gorgeous dinnerware? One can only store so many plates though. I used a mix of the Nature Table Dessert Plates with a pretty floral pattern that they unfortunately don’t carry anymore (and that I snagged on sale when they were discontinuing it).
Hope you have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by! Share your summer table with the hashtag #summeryourtable on Instagram. I’d love to see your ideas and inspirations!
