I had been feeling a little bored with my living room decor lately, and wanted to make it a bit brighter while adding just a hint more soft color. Since my walls are painted this dark gray color, and my furniture is on the lighter side, I wanted to add some color to bring everything together. I went with soft pink/blush tones as accents and love how it came out!
My inspiration started with some modern and fresh pieces from Blackthumb Decor (that watercolor prickly pear print really transformed the gallery wall) their curated selection of Scandinavian inspired home decor is just the right amount of unique and modern to update your space.
I love my bar cart because it so easy to change up the look of my room! I made this marble box with contact paper, and was so pleased with how it came out.
To make these baby’s breath wall hangings, I used the same technique as my baby’s breath flower crown from this post, except I used a thicker copper colored wire. I hung these up using small command clips.
The shape of the vase has a cool way showcasing the natural flower and it’s so different than any bud vase I own. I used a stem of baby’s breath here and can’t wait to try some more varieties of flowers and greenery. It goes perfectly with the simple candlestick holder and I couldn’t resist this lovely pink color. I used a striped taper candle from a DIY project, you can see how I made it here.

Thank you so much! I was honestly resistant to the blush pink at firt (I love it but didn’t want to make it too “girlie”) but it went so well with the gray that I decided to embrace it!

Hi Zoe. I’m looking for a grey to paint my dining room and after several
Samples can’t find one I liked. I love the way your living room turned out and was curious what paint you used? Thanks!!
