Hey All! So, I had my first pop-up flower shop this past weekend and had a blast! I also got to play with some left over beauties to share this gorgeous fall themed arrangement for you!
First things first, cut open and hollow out your pumpkin. Then you’ll need to find a bowl or vase that fits nicely inside the empty pumpkin. Then, add your first layer of flowers. I used dusty miller which act as a bed for the rest of the flowers to lay on. Roses work really well for this and are easy to come by, so I suggest using a dozen for this centerpiece. You’ll be cutting them to fit based on your vase size, just make sure the ones on your outer perimeter are shorter and the ones in the center are a bit taller.
Now, you could even stop here if all you had was greenery and roses and it’d look great! If you happen to have more blooms we’ll layer them in now. I added orange ranunculus and white anemone next. I’m absolutely loving this combo right now. I left these flowers a bit taller than the roses and used 4 of each.
Finally I added some branches to make this all look a bit more fall-esque. Like I said before this would look awesome with just roses, and since branches are so easy to find, adding a couple to an even simple arrangement will give you some nice height and fall appeal.
And here is everything set up on my table! How gorgeous would this be for a party? I hollowed out some small pumpkins to make mini vases, they would also make great candle holders. For the gold pumpkins, I taped off half the pumpkins and used gold spray paint.
Hope you liked this fall floral DIY, let me know in the comments if there is any other sort of decorations you’d like to see for the upcoming holidays!
