I know there are around 100 different ways you can wear a blanket scarf (that may be a slight exaggeration), but I wanted to share my current top 2 favorites with you. They can both be worn interchangeably depending on what you are doing or the current weather. I’ve found myself switching between these two styles a lot lately.
This draped and wrapped version is great when you are out and about and want a little coverage in the front. I love how it adds a very layered look, which becomes even more so if you wear a coat or open sweater.
The belted poncho is great when it’s a little chilly out but doesn’t call for a coat. This style works if you don’t have to lift anything or have full range of motion with your arms. I know that may sound silly to mention, but if you have a little one then you know how much this applies. I like this version for walks or a date night. If you take the belt off, you instantly change your look to “the cape” which is another look I love and has more movement.
I wanted to mention that I got this pretty Aztec print scarf and my current go-to fringe bag from a new store in the Cranberry mall called Versona. It was full of clothes and accessories for lots of different styles and they get new styles in every Monday. I’m especially loving all their cold weather accessories. The prices were all really reasonable, I got this bag for under $25! You can see a photo of the store below.
