I went through and made a short list of the stores I’m always sure to shop at (and what to shop for) during Black Friday weekend! A lot of the sales have started, while some of the discounts will be higher tomorrow. This is when I usually get all to most of my Christmas shopping done, and honestly end up picking up some items for myself too. It’s so hard to pass up a good sale when you know you are going to need a new outfit or something for your house for the holidays! Typically I start looking at items I have my eye on one to two weeks in advance and save items in my cart, that way when I go to check out it isn’t overwhelming. I’m sharing that list here from a handful of my favorite retailers along with the type of items I search for below!

Anthropologie
This one shouldn’t come as much of a surprise but I seriously look forward to their black Friday sale (which is typically their highest percentage off of the entire year at 35% off) for a couple different reasons. Firstly, if I have my eye on a larger furniture piece or more expensive item, I make plans to get it now. Same goes for those fancy little holiday, home decor and kitchen pieces that are great to have this time of year and make perfect gifts. Plus, they have such great candles, I actually went to the store the other day and was test smelling all the candles so I could recommend and stock up on my favorites! They were the caramelized creme brulee, evergreen & mistletoe (in the deer container), and the classic volcano in the gold and marble containers.
Pottery Barn Kids
Every Christmas this is a big go-to for my nieces and nephews Christmas presents. I love getting them something special that I can get personalized with their names that they could keep for years. Look for 20% off plus free shipping.
Gap
This is another retailer I turn to for kids gifts and to get holiday outfits for my own kids. I love their selection and quality for babies, boys and girls and am always finding myself stocking up on things for the kiddos. It’s 50% off plus 10% off, plus free shipping –and look for their doorbuster deals that are already selling out!
JCrew
This one has something for the entire family, but is also one that I take a look at for myself and any outfit items I may need, too. I love their mens line and tend to pick up clothes for my husband as gifts from here as well! We joke that he has such a nice fall/winter wardrobe and I tell him it’s basically because I always end up buying him clothes for Christmas! Typically coming in at 40% off plus free shipping, and look out for their ‘golden’ deals!
ASOS
I bought a lot of my maternity pieces from here because they are so affordable and their are so many cute options to choose from. Whenever I found myself needing a dress or pajamas (I’ve just about lived in both colors of these pj’s this pregnancy) this was the first place I would look! This is probably my favorite store to shop for trends in general since you’re not making a big price commitment and still get to try new styles. I’m looking to grab a few nursing friendly pieces from here during the sale! Plus, with an additional 25-30% off it makes it an affordable option for clothes when you have lots of gifts to buy this time of year.
Williams Sonoma
This is probably my favorite for sending out deliveries to people who live out of town and for small kitchen cooking appliances. Their chocolate croissants are always a hit for Christmas morning and their live wreaths are a nice touch!
