I haven’t posted an outfit blog in such a long time I forgot what it’s like! First off, this is the first time doing this since I had my son and it’s a good step for me. I am just starting to feel comfortable in my own skin again (I still have a long way to go).
Second, this picture is kind of out of focus, but I love this pose so I’m using it anyway 😛
I just love how pretty and flowy the skirt of this dress is. The top is jersey and it’s all very lightweight and breathable for hot summer days.
Third, I guess I should mention that we were at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium and had a great day! My favorites were the flamingos, giraffes, and gorillas (they were the highlight of our trip during feeding time!) Not to mention hubby and I got some quality time together when Doni fell asleep from pure exhaustion. I love this dress from Loft (I have it in the gray color as well) it’s so easy to throw on for a time crunched mama. These shoes were so comfortable, I was literally walking around for hours and had no issues at all! My bag serves as my toddler/diaper/everyday bag and it’s full of snacks, toy cars, wipes etc., but who would guess that when it looks so damn good?

Here are some more shots of our day!
P.S. Lately my line of thinking has been Daniel Tiger songs and children’s books, so I was mentally reciting Dear Zoo and The Pout-Pout Fish all day -the perfect books to go with a zoo and aquarium trip.

First off, kudos to you girl for feeling comfortable in showing off your post- baby style. I think you look great!
I love that dress. It looks super comfy and I have been on the lookout for a flowy dress I could just throw on in this crazy humid weather.
