Initially, my plan was to launch more toward the beginning of spring, when tulips were blooming and in plethora at markets. But just because things don’t go as planned doesn’t mean I have to waste such a pretty and simple flower recipe.
For flower arrangements I tend to use vessels that aren’t “traditional” vases, and in this case it’s this white porcelain milk jug. I found it easier to place the tulips first, and then fill in with wax flower. Folding the tulips leaves in makes them look a bit tidier as well. I’m currently having a love affair with wax flowers, from the fresh piney scent to its versatility. Wax flower is typically sold in a large bundles, so you’ll probably have left over from this arrangement. Have fun filling other small vases with bunches of it!
