Once I saw a picture of a set of napkins from a catalog folded like bunnies with decorative eggs in the center, I knew I had to figure out how to make them for myself! They were surprisingly really easy and I already had everything I would need on hand. While I don’t have any Easter plates, they would look so adorable atop these bunny ones. I snapped some pictures after making a couple so you could see how to fold a bunny napkin for your Easter table, too!
I opted to use my gingham napkins (previously used here) with jute string that I had on hand for a “natural” look. I bought these craft eggs awhile ago and usually would just have them set out in a bowl but loved this using them like this, too! These bunny napkins are really easy to fold and I included the step-by-step instructions with photos below. You will also find the supplies and some options for decorative eggs and napkins. I love how you can customize these to fit your table and room decorations, I think the pastel napkins with speckled eggs and white ribbon would be so pretty!

1. Start with a square napkin, unfolded seam side facing up.
2. Fold the square into a triangle, then again into another smaller triangle
3. Turn the napkin so it’s facing you point side up
4. Begin to fold the napkin up and fold the top point down 1-2 inches
5. Complete folding up so that the top point that you folded down is tucked in
6. Fold the rolled napkin in half with the crease side facing out on the bottom (I found the napkins hold better this way)
7. Place the decorative egg inside and secure by tieing with a strand of ribbon or string of choice. Bend the ears down a bit if needed.
Aren’t the so cute and easy? I thought about drawing little faces on the Easter eggs but decided to keep them as is. There are so many cute variations you could do to suit you! These would even be adorable set up in a basket if you are doing a buffet style meal for Easter.
