I love how polka dots are making a comeback and especially like to wear this print with a little bit of color. When I wore this blouse with jeans and a leopard belt this weekend, I couldn’t decide what jacket and shoes to wear.
Since I’d be walking a lot, the only logical thing to do was wear flats, plus I wanted to wear this green fuzzy jacket. The problem I ran into is being so short it’s not flattering to wear a shorter jacket that hits my hips with flats and skinny jeans, the outfit looked way better with heels. However, as soon as I put on a longer cut waterfall jacket, the flats worked! I ended up wearing the flat shoes and pink coat out during the day and switched to the heels and green jacket for dinner. This unintentionally ended up being a great day to evening outfit, and you can check out both full looks below!
Do you ever run into problems like this? A lot of times I make outfits in my head then when I go to try them on, they just don’t work. At least this explains why all my clothes are never in my closet and all over the bedroom.
