I think I’ve seen this sweater or some version of it floating around on instagram enough that I almost got sick of it. And although the sleeves were adorable (who am I to say no to a statement sleeve?), I honestly wasn’t sure about the cut of this sweater once I tried it on. This particular ruffle sleeve sweater is one size fits all which I think contributed to that issue and I couldn’t help wondering how this would work for different body types. I wore mine with a super high waist stretch denim, tucked, with pumps, and a neck scarf tied onto my mini bag.
In the end I decided it’s a keeper for me. It’s February after all so the extra frilliness is totally in tune with the month. Not like I need any excuse to embrace something that is extra girly.
And if you’re in the mood for some at home pampering, take a look at this post with my galentine’s inspired DIY rose infused milk bath. I’ll be sharing this recipe and more at Macy’s in the Ross Park Mall on Saturday for their Galentine’s event. So if you’re local, stop by and grab some goodies!
