The Sandals You'll Love for Traveling

Ahhh vacation! If you’re lucky enough to have a visit to somewhere planned near or far, having the right pair of shoes on can make or break your day. I love getting out and checking out a new city and usually jam pack a few of our days so we don’t miss anything. Exploring and checking out a new place usually means lots of walking and it seems like it never fails that after every winter when I try to slip into my strappy shoes, I inevitably get blisters. When we came down to Florida this year after what was a particularly long winter, this happened to me on the first day here with a pair of slippers! We were planning to go explore some small towns nearby the next day and even with existing blisters from the other shoes, these Söfft sandals lived up to the name and were still so comfortable to walk around in from the straps to the cushion in the soles.

I would definitely recommend this brand shoe and these sandals for travel especially if you are going anywhere that requires a lot of walking. Especially in the summer, it’s nice to have an alternative to sneakers everyday. Visiting places like Disney World, Europe or really anywhere that includes lots of sightseeing, you could trek all day without worrying about having shoe issues (especially when you can’t get back to your hotel). I love that they come in rose gold, but if that’s not your style they also come in black, brown, silver gold and navy.

We ended up visiting Dunedin, Florida one afternoon and found some of the best acai bowls ever at Escape Root Juicery. I love the small town feel and beachy vibe of this area and there are lots of restaurants and small shops to visit. We have had great experiences eating at a Hawaiian restaurant called The Honu and a Mexican restaurant called Casa Tina. If you have time, stop at the most adorable spot for a coffee, Sweet Peas Cafe. They have a large outdoor area that is kid friendly, it happened to be closed on the day we went but we have enjoyed it in the past. Also, if you are in the area don’t forget you can visit nearby Honeymoon Island for a really beautiful natural beach!
